Facial Recognition for Stadiums & Arenas
Protect Every Guest —at Game Time Speed
Safeguarding the World's Most Secure Venues
Our Key Capabilities
What We Do for Stadiums
eConnect gives stadiums and arenas the power to unify identity intelligence across facial recognition, license plate tracking, access control, and vendor management. Our platform is trusted by some of the largest and most advanced venues in the world.
Persistent Facial Enrollment
Every detected face is enrolled and logged. Search by face, not just time or location.
Association Mapping
Automatically map connections between guests, staff, and vendors.
Real-Time Banned Individual Detection
Proactively intercept flagged persons as they approach your venue—on foot or in a vehicle.
Employee, Vendor & Contractor Monitoring
Our integration with StarMicros supports full vendor credentialing and badging, giving you complete awareness of who’s in the building.
VIP Guest Recognition
Automatically identify and alert hospitality staff when high-value individuals arrive—before they reach the gate.
License Plate Recognition (LPR)
Log every vehicle entering your property. Connect license plates to faces, watchlists, and approved vendor schedules.
Weapons Detection Integration
Integrate facial recognition directly with weapon detection systems for real-time threat prioritization and response.
Scalable, Seamless Integration
No infrastructure overhaul needed. eConnect runs on your existing cameras and integrates with your current surveillance, access control, and VMS platforms.
How It Helps
Unlike other systems that only scan for known individuals, eConnect enrolls and stores every single face that enters your venue automatically. This creates a searchable facial identity archive that gives you the power to:
Investigate incidents using historical face search
Identify unknown individuals after the fact
Build case files with timestamps, locations, and visual records
With associations technology, our system identifies patterns between people, including who they enter with, how often they appear together, and where. Whether you're tracking coordinated fraud, gang affiliations, or criminal networks, our platform maps social proximity automatically.
All of this is layered over your existing infrastructure. eConnect integrates seamlessly with:
Your current surveillance camera system
Weapons detection systems for layered threat defense
StarMicros for vendor and visitor badging
POS, access control, and ID scanning platforms
The result?. Total awareness across every face, every vehicle, and every access point—without slowing down operations.

Challenge
If you are responsible for security at a venue like SoFi Stadium, ingress is one of the highest risk windows of the event. Up to 75,000 guests enter within 45 to 60 minutes. Security must identify banned individuals and persons of interest in real time without disrupting ingress flow. Manual monitoring and static watchlists make consistent identification across multiple entry points difficult. Recognition depends on individual officers spotting matches in dense crowds. Gaps increase during peak surge periods. Many of these events take place at night and on weekends, outside of normal business hours making it hard for non 24/7, 365-day companies to manage support in real time
Solution
eConnect partnered directly with the SoFi Stadium security team to design a deployment aligned to stadium operations. Guest flow, lighting, and mounting angles were evaluated to ensure consistent facial capture without slowing entry or increasing staffing. Enrolled individuals trigger real time alerts directly within Genetec and the existing incident management platform before venue access is granted. eConnect prides itself on providing the highest level of customer service and support. SoFi Stadium has confidence knowing that if and when support is needed, eConnect is there to respond and assist regardless of the day or time.
Impact
Persons of interest are identified before venue access.
In venue incidents are reduced.
10x increase in identification of banned and trespassed individuals
Zero false alerts at configured operational threshold
Enhanced coordination with local and federal law enforcement
Operational control and coordination improve.
Real time alerting within Genetec and incident management systems
Challenge
The Sphere operates as a high-profile entertainment venue with rotating crews, contractors, vendors, and thousands of guests per event. Security required real time identification of banned individuals without slowing ingress while strengthening control of sensitive back of house areas. Badge possession alone was not sufficient. The venue required identity based security across public and restricted zones
Solution
Facial recognition was embedded into weapons detection units, allowing simultaneous screening and identity verification with no additional checkpoints. Matches generate real time alerts before entry is granted, shifting identification to the perimeter. Biometric access control was deployed across secure doors. The face becomes the credential, unlocking doors only upon verified identity. Permissions are assigned by role and zone, with real time logging, audit reporting, and immediate alerts for unauthorized access attempts.
Impact
Real time identification at entry
Unified screening and identity workflow
Identity based protection of high security areas
Elimination of credential sharing risk
