The eConnect + Hanwha integration delivers AI-powered facial recognition and identity intelligence using Hanwha’s high-performance cameras. By leveraging superior image quality, eConnect enables real-time recognition and actionable security insights from existing camera infrastructure, enhancing situational awareness and response times without requiring hardware replacement. eConnect integrates with the WAVE VMS platform and can be used alongside it to support facial recognition and identity-based investigations. This approach allows organizations to leverage their existing WAVE environment while adding advanced AI-driven facial recognition capabilities.
How It Works
The integration consumes RTSP video streams directly from Hanwha cameras and routes them into the eConnect AI engine for real-time analysis. Once enabled, eConnect continuously processes live video feeds to detect faces, identify known individuals, flag unknown individuals, and generate identity-based events. All facial recognition activity, metadata, and identity insights are created and managed within the eConnect platform, ensuring a smooth and automated workflow. The system operates in real time, with no manual intervention required, and supports on-prem servers and appliances to meet strict security and privacy requirements. The result is a powerful, low-latency analytics pipeline that turns Hanwha camera feeds into actionable intelligence.
